EU Directive

Declaration to directives:

  • EU Directive 2002/95/EG RoHS
  • EU Directive 2002/96/EG and 2003/108/EG WEEE

Being an innovative and quality- as well as environmentally-conscious enterprise, we at DEWERT’s are committed to developing and manufacturing our products in accordance with the latest standards and leading edge technology.

EU Directive 2002/95/EG RoHS

Effective from 01.07.2006 the EU Directive 2002/95/EG RoHS, being a part of the German national law of the Electrical and Electronical Equipment Act “ElektroG”, is legally binding; governing the rules of maximum allowable contaminant concentration of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chrome and bromined flame resistants in electrical and electronical equipment newly put in circulation.

Since 2 years we and all our business partners prepared ourselves to transpose this directive and we can assure you that our products meet these special requirements.

EU Directive 2002/96/EG and 2003/108/EG WEEE

After careful investigation of this directive and its guidelines by competent and experienced consultants and specialist solicitors as well as consulting all existing internet resources of the foundation “Stiftung EAR” (1) our products need not be registered nor underlie these waste restrictions.

(1) The German foundation for Electrical-Used Parts Registration [EAR] is assigned by the German Federal Environmental Agency “Umweltbundesamt” with the tasks of the “notified body” of all households concerned and that derive from this Electrical Act. This foundation combines those functions that need to be done by the government to transpose the “ElektroG”.
